The Quang Ninh Library and Quang Ninh Museum are two structures within the cultural architectural complex of Quang Ninh province, along with the 30/10 Square, located in the center of Ha Long City, along the coast of Ha Long Bay. The Quang Ninh Library and Quang Ninh Museum were designed by Spanish architect Salvador Perez Arroyo, with the idea inspired by black coal lumps – a symbol of Quang Ninh’s traditional industry. The two structures are rectangular blocks, covered by black wooden planks, creating a modern and impressive appearance.
The Quang Ninh Library has an area of 6,000m2, includes 5 floors, with a total of 200,000 books, many of which are rare and valuable. The Quang Ninh Museum introduces visitors to the beauty, values, and features of Quang Ninh and Vietnam through physical evidence, artworks, and modern display technologies.
