Thanh Ha Pottery Village in Hoi An originated from Thanh Hoa. Formed and developed from the 15th century, Thanh Ha Pottery Village became a living museum providing valuable materials for scientists. Thanh Ha Pottery Village is located on the peaceful Thu Bon River, about 3 km west of the center of Hoi An city. The 16th – 17th century is considered the most glorious period of the pottery village, the pottery products of the village were used to advance the king. Through the fluctuations, ups and downs of history, the traditional profession here sometimes seemed to be forgotten. However, thanks to the heart and love of the profession of the artisans, the craft village still exists to this day, once again reviving the beauty, the soul of a traditional Vietnamese craft village.

Coming to Thanh Ha Pottery Village in Hoi An, you will feel like you are lost in a peaceful, rustic countryside. You will learn about the traditional pottery making process, from the stages of choosing soil, kneading, decorating, firing, to the stage of completing the product.
