1. Ba Na Hills
This is a tourist area located on the top of Ba Na mountain, about 30 km from the city center. Ba Na Hills is known as the “Resort Paradise” with cool weather all year round, beautiful natural scenery and many unique entertainment areas. You can visit the Golden Bridge – a famous bridge held by two giant hands, the French Village – a neighborhood with European architectural style, the Flower Garden – where many beautiful flowers are displayed, the Fantasy Park – the largest amusement park in Vietnam, the Wax Museum – a wax museum with many wax statues of famous characters…
2. Dragon Bridge
This is a bridge crossing the Han River, connecting Hai Chau district and Son Tra district. The Dragon Bridge has a unique design with the shape of a winding dragon on the water surface. Especially, at 9pm every Saturday and Sunday, the Dragon Bridge will spit water and fire, creating an impressive performance. You can come here to admire the city’s night view and take souvenir photos.
3. My Khe Beach
This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, located in the East of the city. My Khe Beach has fine white sand, clear blue water, gentle waves and poetic scenery. You can swim, relax, play water sports, enjoy fresh seafood… My Khe Beach does not charge an entrance fee.
4. Son Tra Peninsula
This is a peninsula located in the Northeast of the city, with an area of about 60 km2. Son Tra Peninsula has a diverse ecosystem, pristine and poetic natural landscape. You can visit Linh Ung Pagoda – where there is a 67m high statue of Quan The Am Buddha, Ban Co peak – where you can see the whole city, Bac My An beach, Non Nuoc beach, Tinh Te beach… You can also meet the long-tailed monkeys – the endemic animal of Son Tra Peninsula. Son Tra Peninsula does not charge an entrance fee.
5. Marble Mountains
This is a complex of five limestone mountains, symbolizing the five elements: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth. Marble Mountains is located in the South of the city, about 8 km from the center. Marble Mountains has many caves, temples and stone carvings of cultural, historical and spiritual value. You can climb the mountains, visit places like Linh Ung Pagoda, Tam Thai Pagoda, Huyen Khong Cave, Dong Thien… Marble Mountains charges an entrance fee for adults and children.
6. 3D Painting Museum
This is a modern art museum, located on Le Dinh Duong street, Hai Chau district. The 3D Painting Museum has many paintings drawn on walls, floors and ceilings, creating a lively 3D effect and illusion for viewers. You can take photos with the paintings, showing your creativity and humor.
7. Linh Ung Pagoda
This is the largest and most beautiful pagoda in Da Nang, located on Thuy Son mountain, part of the Marble Mountains complex. Linh Ung Pagoda has a unique architecture, with many Buddha statues, lotus platforms, bronze bells and flower gardens. The most prominent feature of the pagoda is the 10m high statue of Thich Ca Buddha, sitting on a 6m high lotus platform, overlooking the sea. Linh Ung Pagoda is a spiritual and cultural tourist destination in Da Nang. Linh Ung Pagoda does not charge an entrance fee.
