By train
This is a suitable means for tourists who like to experience natural landscapes and local culture along the way. There are many trains from major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Hue… to Da Nang station, about 35 km from Hoi An. Train ticket prices range from 200,000 VND to 1,500,000 VND, depending on the type of seat, carriage, and time. The travel time ranges from 15 hours to 20 hours, depending on the starting point. From Da Nang station, tourists can take a bus, taxi, motorbike taxi, Grab, or rent a private car to get to Hoi An, with a travel time of about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

- Route 1: Go along Truong Sa road to Vo Nguyen Giap/Lac Long Quan then turn into Hoi An city.
- Route 2: Go along Vo Chi Cong road to Lac Long Quan/Vo Nguyen Giap then turn into Hoi An city.
