Dragon Bridge

The Dragon Bridge is located on Nguyen Van Linh Street, in Phuoc Ninh Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City. The Dragon Bridge spans the Han River at the Le Dinh Duong – Bach Dang roundabout, connecting Nguyen Van Linh Street and Vo Van Kiet, creating the shortest route from Da Nang International Airport to the main roads in the city, as well as to My Khe and Non Nuoc beaches on the east side of the city.

The Dragon Bridge has a total length of 666m, a width of 37.5m, divided into 6 lanes. The Dragon Bridge has the most unique design in Vietnam, being the first single-arch steel bridge in Southeast Asia, with the shape of a Ly Dynasty dragon stretching out to the sea, expressing the strong aspiration of Da Nang City. The Dragon Bridge is also equipped with an elaborate lighting system consisting of 15,000 LED bulbs, creating sparkling colors at night.

The most special feature of the Dragon Bridge is the dragon’s ability to spit fire and water. Every week, at a fixed time, the bridge will spit fire and water impressively, attracting thousands of tourists to admire. The fire spitting performance lasts about 2 minutes, spitting out about 50m, while the water spitting performance lasts about 3 minutes, spitting out about 100m.

The Dragon Bridge’s fire-spitting is one of the most unique performances in the world, recorded in the Vietnam Record Book and Guinness. You can visit the Dragon Bridge on Saturdays and Sundays every week, at 21:00 to watch the fire and water spitting performance. In addition, on festival occasions, the Dragon Bridge will also spit fire and water according to its own theme, creating a vibrant and fun atmosphere.

The Dragon Bridge is not only an engineering work, but also an artistic work, deeply imbued with the cultural and spiritual values of the people of Da Nang. The Dragon Bridge is a symbol of development, prosperity, peace, and happiness of the city. The Dragon Bridge is also a place to mark the beautiful memories of tourists when coming to Da Nang, a place where you can take beautiful photos, live virtual and share with friends. The Dragon Bridge is also a place where you can enjoy delicious dishes, Da Nang specialties such as pork roll rice paper, pancakes, fish noodle soup… at the eateries near the bridge area.

The Dragon Bridge is a must-visit destination when you come to Da Nang. This is a place where you can explore the modern, dynamic beauty, as well as enjoy quality tourism services. Wish you unforgettable experiences and beautiful memories with your family and friends when visiting Da Nang.
