Ho Quoc Pagoda Phu Quoc is located in Suoi Lon hamlet, Duong To commune, Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province, about 10km from Phu Quoc international airport and 20km from Duong Dong town center. The official name of the pagoda is Truc Lam Ho Quoc Zen Monastery, which is the largest Buddhist pagoda in Phu Quoc as well as the Mekong Delta region with a total area of about 110 hectares. The pagoda is designed in the architecture of the Ly – Tran dynasty, using high-quality ironwood materials with a lifespan and durability of up to 1000 years.
To explore Ho Quoc Pagoda Phu Quoc, you need to go through the Tam Quan gate, including three gates: the main gate Cua Dia Giac, the left gate Cua Bat Nhi, and the right gate Cua Giai Thoat. Then, you will step into a spacious meditation yard with many cool green trees. From here, you can admire the main items of the pagoda, including: Tam Bao Palace, Ancestor’s Church, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Superior’s House, Monk’s House, and Dining Hall.
