The Tu Duc Tomb was built in 1864, on a plot of land about 12 hectares wide, including two main areas: the tomb and the mausoleum. All the buildings in the tomb have the word “Khiem” in their names, expressing the humility and dignity of King Tu Duc. The tomb has harmonious architecture between Asian and European styles, with winding lines, exquisite patterns, and elegant colors.
