According to legend, Tien Dung is the only princess of King Dinh Tien Hoang, who was loved and pampered. Tien Dung fell in love with An Tiem, a prisoner of the Tong family, who was pardoned by King Dinh and adopted. However, not wanting to hurt her father, Tien Dung ran away with An Tiem into the deep forest.
