Dong Van Market is one of the traditional markets of the Dong Van Karst Plateau region, located at the foot of Don Cao mountain, where people of different ethnic groups such as Tay, Nung, Han, Mong, Hoa, Dao… gather, exchange and trade various goods from agricultural products, livestock, utensils, clothes, jewelry. The market usually meets on Sundays every week and on holidays and Tet in the year. The market was built between 1925 and 1928, with a U-shaped overall architecture, built with stone materials.
To get to Dong Van Market, you can travel by public or personal means from Hanoi to Ha Giang, then continue on National Highway 4C to Dong Van district, then follow provincial road 206 to Dong Van town. The road is quite easy and airy, with limestone mountain ranges highlighting the landscape of Ha Giang.
